Apiaries

Tamar Grow Local wishes to work with other beekeepers to promote local honey and related products in the Tamar Valley and surrounding areas. We would be pleased to hear from beekeepers who would like to work with us.

We are also seeking orchard owners or market gardeners in the Tamar Valley and surrounding region who would welcome honeybee hives to pollinate your crops.

If you are interested, please contact the TGL apiary manager Mike Gill on 0844 884 5099 and discuss your particular location options.  Alternatively TGL will be holding a meeting where you can meet the TGL directors and after a brief introduction by Mike Gill, ask detailed questions.

We are also developing an education and research programme on bees and beekeeping (see research and education).
