Community supported agriculture (CSA) – Local, native breed Beef.

Want to know exactly how your beef has been reared, support a local farmer and maintain native breeds?

How it works:

Commit to buy a share of a beef animal, 15Kg of beef, in advance and the local farmer will advise you when your Box of Beefis is ready for collection from the farm. You get a selection of cuts from the animal, and at a better-than-market rate as a consumer (the farmer gets a better-than-wholesale rate – both producer and consumer benefit). You can also visit the farm if you want to.

Tamar Grow Local are working with Will and Jess at Bohetherick farm to make 'Box of Beef" CSA available. The animal is one of Bohetherick Farm's home bred, Hereford grass-fed steers, reknowed for their tenderness and flavour.
