Community supported agriculture (CSA) – Local, rare breed pork.

Want to know exactly how your pork has been reared, support a local farmer and maintain rare breeds?

How it works:

Buy half a pig in advance and a local farmer will rear it for you. You get the meat butchered as you would like it, and at a better-than-market rate as a consumer (the farmer gets a better-than-wholesale rate – both producer and consumer benefit). You can also visit your pig as it grows if you want to.
