Calstock Community Growing Plots - June 2008

Tamar Grow Local have now reached an in principle agreement for a community growing site in Calstock.

This is great news, as it’s in a very central location in Calstock, on a south facing hillside - so very accessible and good for growing!

Tamar Grow Local are finalising details over this and exploring grant funding for installation of a rabbit - proof fencing and a water supply.

It is likely that a co-operative arrangement will be set up for members of the site, which is common to many allotments. We are also setting aside a plot for Calstock School to use as it's 'veggie plot.'
