Research
Tamar Grow Local has close links with the University of Plymouth and Duchy College. Working with these academic partners and other independent and UK Government funded organisations, we are developing a number of research projects that will bring both environmental and social focii.
Using the landscape as our laboratory, we bring a community-based empirical approach under-pinned by a rigorous academic framework.
We are open to new ideas, especially regarding research projects that sit within any of the following spheres of our activity:
Orchards
Market Gardening
Horticulture
Bee-keeping
Local food Production
Climate Change
Community-based Agriculture
Please contact us with your thoughts and we will see how we can work together to either develop or continue your ideas, possibly by attracting further expertise, funding or publishing opportunities.
